Back to work

Steph and I spent last week back in the jungle, in Cangaime (the second community we went to last year).  This was our first trip without any experienced jungle-engineers or spanish-speakers and our main worries were: not being understood, not having anything to do, killing each other because of lack of other company.

In actual fact we accomplished a lot - surveying the existing pipeline and distribution system, as well as looking at alternative possible sources for the future and other houses which would like connections.  For the first time we have done something which wouldn't have happened if I hadn't been there, and this feels great.  Now we have to write a report (in spanish) detailing what we found and making recommendations.
